Day 1

My plan is to write a novel NaNoWriMo style–that is to complete it in 30 days with a minimum of 50,000 words–and then to publish it on, for better or for worse.

In this endeavour, I have a good support system of friends and family, all of them anxious to see the turnout.  Failure is no option!  Heh.  At least that’s what I keep telling myself.  As a procrastinating ADHD-er, I haven’t been able to keep to many projects since the previous (actual) NaNoWriMo.  I’m mostly keeping this blog to keep track of myself, but if anyone wants to follow along, that’s wonderful.  🙂

There, stage set, time to commence.

I started writing around midnight, possibly 1:00am, while my brother played Diablo 2.

With the help of my friend acting as a sounding board and opinion-giver, I worked out a very rough synopsis and some other planning.  On my netbook, I now have the actual story file, a txt file of random notes, and another txt file of chapter synopses.

Complete chapters – 1
Synopses – 5

Words so far: 2,611
